Erin Cashin, Owner
Erin’s yoga journey began as a supplement to running. What she found was so much more. Yes, it made her a stronger runner but the real nugget was that yoga taught her how to listen to her body, about acceptance and forgiveness, gave her peace in her heart, and taught her how to let go (and that letting go is not giving up).
Before having her baby, Erin taught special education for ten years and frequently used yoga in the classroom. She very quickly realized how much it helped her students whether they practiced breathing exercises, did animal poses, or played yoga games. A tiny seed was planted at that point of creating a yoga space just for kids.
Erin continued to deepen her own practice and her interest in teaching yoga grew. She took an introduction teaching course at Tranquil Space-Arlington in 2011, went to Karma Kids Yoga in NYC and earned her Kid’s Certification in 2013, and completed her 200 hour teacher training at Mind the Mat in 2014. She is certified with Yoga Alliance.
Erin hopes to share her love for yoga with all of her students and to help them believe in themselves, trust their body, and feel peace in their heart.
Erin is teaching Story Time Yoga, TOT + 3/4’s Yoga, Prenatal, and Open Flow.

Kathryn completed her RYT 200 with Mind the Mat and is certified with Yoga Alliance. Her goal is to demonstrate the accessibility and multiple benefits of yoga, and her classes are designed to promote self awareness, breath, and strength. A professional actor and musician, Kathryn holds her BA in music and theater from the University of Pittsburgh and always strives to find the positive, the beauty, and the goofy in everything. Living in the moment and never wishing it away is one of the most important things yoga has taught her. As William Shakespeare said, “Wisely and slow. They stumble that run fast.”

Jen discovered yoga in college as part of a gym requirement. However, Jen's dedication to a martial arts passion, her job, and her classes left little time for a dedicated yoga practice. A life altering event brought her back to the mat as a means to help to manage stress and to decompress. A year later, Jen completed her 200-hour Teacher Training.
Jen was inspired to teach kids yoga by her youngest cousin when his parents had asked if yoga would help improve his muscle tone. Most recently, she completed a prenatal certification after several friends announced that they were expecting. Jen loves how yoga helps maintain balance in her life and she looks forward to bringing yoga to anyone who wants to give it a try.
Jen teaches Kid's Yoga on Saturday mornings.
